Fırat Namlı is a partner at Namlı Kayum Demir and head of our Dispute Resolution practice.  He is also specialized in Corporate Commercial, Labor and Employment, Data Privacy and Competition law and is a licensed mediator registered with the Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Justice.

Fırat represents clients in legal disputes related to their investments involving commercial, company and liability in civil law actions. He has extensive experience across a broad range of court actions for creditors, seizures, liens, insolvency cases and bankruptcy proceedings.  Fırat has represented clients before national courts in commercial litigation, IP disputes, unfair competition, employment law litigation, insolvency, bankruptcy and liability law.  In addition, he has in-depth experience in advertisement regulations in sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, education, cosmetics, tobacco and alcohol.

Fırat practices mediation since 2014 in domestic civil and commercial matters. He is a licensed mediator within Turkish Ministry of Justice (MoJ) since 2016.

Fırat has a strong academician background. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. from Ankara University for Civil and Private Law. Prior to that, he served as the Deputy Faculty Secretary at Çağ University School of Law and Research Fellow at Eastern Mediterranean University School of Law.
